Updating This Website
We are starting the process of updating this (our) website...www.gchs65.com. Our goal, as always, is to provide a communications mechanism to enable our friends and classmates from the Class of 1965 to stay in touch and rekindle old (but happy) memories. We will be adding more photos and stories to the website in the coming days and weeks. Watch our progress.

The Anderson Scholarship Fund
Here is some information we just received from classmate Kirk Lamb about the James C. Anderson Scholarship:
Since its establishment in 1995 by former Cleveland student Mark Daniel (’67), The James C. Anderson Scholarship has been funded by former students of Grover Cleveland High School to honor the man who has invested his career in the lives and futures of Cleveland students. His direction, humor, love, attention and advice have impacted hundreds of lives in both modest and dramatic fashion. The Scholarship is awarded each year to two truly outstanding Cleveland seniors who cannot afford to attend a four-year college to which they have already been accepted. In the 20 years since the Scholarship was founded, our contributors have awarded 40 outstanding seniors over $200,000. Now, beginning our third decade and in the face of rising college tuition costs, we are asking for your help to expand our ability to aid these deserving students. Please join our list of over 70 current, yearly contributors.

We have just added a lot of new content from the 50-Year Celebration over the past couple of days. This includes: 3 more pages of photos from the Saturday night party; special pages devoted to photos from the Raffle and dancing; online copies of the order forms for photo prints and the official DVD, plus a list of who was in attendance for the big Saturday night party...and more. Keep checking this website regularly for updates.

There is so much new and exciting following our huge "50-Year Celebration" last week. For one, please keep checking this website regularly for more photos and stories and overall content about (and from) your classmates from the Class of 1965. Among other things:
- We have just added all of the Red Carpet photos from the Saturday night party. See how glamorous you and your friends looked on that special night. Click here to go directly to those photos.
- We are about to add hundreds of more photos to the website, all from our four days of celebration (October 15-18). Keep watching for more and more new "stuff" here on the site.
- Videos from Saturday night are also coming soon.

In just the past week, we have added incredible Life Stories from Chris Van Laar, Chuck Real, Jim Horton and Larry Riggs. All of them will be at our October events, so you may want to learn about their post-GCHS lives before you bump into them on the dance floor.

In today's issue of our Class newsletter, "Memories", we announced and described the full range of activities that we are planning for the fun and enjoyment for all who will be attending our Oct 15-18 50-Year Celebration. This includes golf, antique shopping, a beach trip, wine tasting, a tour of modern-day Grover Cleveland High School and more.

We have just announced the deadline for receiving your payments for the "50-Year Celebration", taking place October 15-18. That deadline is August 14th, just 25 days away. All the details are in the new issue of our Class of 1965 newsletter, "Memories", which was e-mailed to all of you yesterday (7-20-15).
